The 21-day trek from Jiri to the Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular classic treks available. The spectacular scenery of the landscape and the Himalayan ranges are the significance of this trek. The lower part of this trek is called Solu region while the upper section is regarded as Khumbu region. The Khumbu region has been bounded in the Sagarmatha National Park, the world heritage site. "Sagarmatha" is the Nepalese name of Mt. Everest, the top of the tops. Sherpas, the famous climbers are the dwellers of Khumbu region. The flora and fauna are other jewels of the Sagarmatha National Park, and the story of the Yeti is still a mystery to the rest of the world.

Day 01

Kathmandu to Jiri (2370m) (188 km/ 7-8 hours): Drive by bus/jeep.

Day 02

Jiri to Bhandar (2150m): Trek.

Day 03

Bhandar to Sete: Trek.

Day 04

Sete to Jubesi: Trek.

Day 05

Junbesi to Nunthala: Trek.

Day 06

Nunthala to Bupsadanda (2300m): Trek.

Day 07

Bupsadanda to Surke: Trek.

Day 08

Sukre to Phakding (2610m): Trek.

Day 09

Phakding to Namche (3446m): Trek.

Day 10

Rest at Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization.

Day 11

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m): Trek.

Day 12

Tengboche to Pheriche (4252m): Trek.

Day 13

Rest day at Periche: Acclimatization.

Day 14

Periche to Lobuche (4910m): Trek.

Day 15

Lobuche to EBC (5360m) to Gorakshep (5160m): Trek.

Day 16

Gorakshep to Kalapaththar (5545m) and Lobuche: Trek.

Day 17

Lobuche to Dingboche: Trek.

Day 18

Dingboche to Tengboche: Trek.

Day 19

Tengboche to Namche Bazaar: Trek.

Day 20

Namche Bazaar to Lukla: Trek.

Day 21

Lukla to Kathmandu: Fly to Kathmandu (35 minutes).
